Electrical work in Strathmore
Strathmore is a leafy suburb between Airport West and Pascoe Vale, roughly eight minutes from our base. It has a mix of interwar and mid-century homes, many of them extensively renovated, along with some newer builds on subdivided blocks.
Renovations drive most of our Strathmore work. Owners extending or updating a home want a switchboard that can handle the new load, lighting that suits an architect-designed space, and provision for an EV charger and future battery. Older homes also need the basics fixed: safety switches, replacing tired power points and light switches, and sorting out wiring from earlier renovations.

Can you work with our builder on a Strathmore renovation?
Yes. We regularly do rough-in and fit-off for builders and owner-builders and coordinate with plasterers and cabinet makers so nothing is done twice.
Can you pre-wire for an EV charger and battery without installing them yet?
Yes. Running the conduit and cable during a renovation is far cheaper than doing it later, and the charger can go in whenever you buy the car.
Do you do lighting design or just installation?
Both. We can plan the layout with you or install to a designer’s plan, and we advise on fittings that will actually last.
