What counts as an electrical emergency
A burning smell from a switchboard or power point, sparking, smoke, or a fitting that is hot to touch: turn the power off at the main switch and call. Total loss of power when the street still has it, a safety switch that trips again every time it is reset, water into electrical fittings after a storm or a leak, and exposed or damaged wiring are all emergencies too. What happens when you call
